William Carl Johnson

William (Bill) Carl Johnson was born on January 15, 1939 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to Walter Johnson and Lucille McCracken Johnson. Bill passed from this life on May 11, 2020 in Glencoe, Oklahoma having reached the age of 81 years. He married Carol Kosensky on June 17, 1960 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Bill and Carol moved their family to Oklahoma in the summer of 1981.
Bill spent his life as a boilermaker. He enjoyed tinkering around with many old classic cars and a few old tractors.
Bill is survived by his children; Diana Williams and her husband Alan; Bill Johnson; Phyllis Kaiser and her husband Larry; John Johnson and his wife Lydia; Scott Johnson; James Johnson and Tricia; Chancy Johnson and his wife Amanda; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a brother Bob Johnson and a Sister Karen Whitaker.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Johnson and his parents, Walter and Lucille Johnson.
Services will be held graveside Thursday 10:00 A.M. May 14, 2020 with Rev. Jeff Kuhn officiating, burial will follow in the Glencoe South Cemetery. Services were entrusted to the Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services, friends can leave a memory for the family at www.poteetfuneralhome.com
