Thomas Lee Creager was born on June 16, 1929 in Lincoln County, Oklahoma to Thomas Clay Creager and Belle Harris Creager, he was the youngest of 8 children. On November 25, 1949, at 20 years old, he married the love of his life, Loa-Lee Donahoo. Together they had 5 children, Neilda, Roger, Tommie Dale, Ginger and Janet. Tom and Loa-Lee were also blessed later in life with 9 grandchildren and 19 great granchildren.
Tom’s first job was working for Conoco in Ponca City where he worked for several years before going to work for the City of Pawnee Electric Department in 1954. He retired from Indian Electric Coop after many years as a lineman.
Tom’s passion in life was horses. He started training from an early age. He raised and trained race horses and had a very successful record at the track. He also trained many calf roping and barrel horses that have gone on to the professional rodeo circuit.
He and Loa-Lee were married for 61 years, 11 months and 22 days before Loa-Lee passed away on November 22, 2011. On Sunday, September 20, 2020 Tom left his earthly home to join her in Heaven. He is preceded in death by his 4 sisters Viola Barnet, Elsie Nickum, Ina Tannahill, and Edna Groom, his 3 brothers Arthur, Lawrence and Roy Creager and his 2 great granchildren Zoie Harland Day and Halli Rae Tessmann.
