Steve Roger Behrens, 80, passed away January 23, 2024 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Steve was born July 17, 1943 to J.D. Behrens and Daisy Marie (Creason) Behrens he was raised in the Hominy, Oklahoma area. Steve’s hobbies were varied; enjoying a series of codes; he wrote them, by Book Filled Book, he long cared for his dog and his horse, and helped Daisy around the house, and his dad J.D. in the oilfields and taking care of the yard work. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, and also horseback riding, he had not been able to ride horses recently, but was just happy to be around horses. He enjoyed going to pow-wows. Steve liked the elements of the Old West. Steve will be missed by all who knew him. Steve is survived by B. Anthony Behrens and wife Bing of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Jerry Behrens and wife Amy of Owasso, Oklahoma, great nieces Harley and Piper Behrens, Sister In Law and Conservator Kay Behrens and Steve's Family at HELP Works in Pawhuska. Steve was preceded in death by his parents J.D. Behrens and Daisy Marie Behrens, and brother Clyde Behrens. Services will be held Friday 2:00 P.M. February 2, 2024 in the First Baptist Church in Hominy, Oklahoma with Rev. Mark Formby officiating. A private family burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Maramec, Oklahoma.
