Ruby Lea Flowers

Ruby Lea Flowers went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 7, 2019 at 12:15 P.M., with her loving family by her side. Ruby was born in Payne County at home on October 23, 1932 to Jesse Arville Reeves and Beulah Chloe (Treat). Ruby has lived in Virginia, France, Florida, California and then settled back home in Glencoe in 1967. Ruby had numerous jobs over the years but settled in her last job. Ruby loved owning second hand stores, which she did for over 40 years, she helped many people over those years. Ruby was loved by all that knew her.

Ruby is survived by her children; Mike Flowers, Shirley Hodges and husband Bill, Carol Flowers, Susan Bastion, Terri Ross, and Billy Joe Flowers, sisters; Janice Bartlett and Mary Harwick, brother; Jack Reeves and wife Martha, sister's in law; Betty Payne and Phylis Flowers, adopted daughters; Joy Marlow, Teresa Taylor and Susan Muench, 17 grand children, 35 great grand children, 1 great great grand child.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Flowers, son Allen Flowers, 1 grand son and 1 great grand son.

Services are Thursday 2:00 P.M. November 14, 2019 in the Glencoe Church Of Christ with Minister Curt Anderson officiating burial will follow in the South Glencoe Cemetery. Services were entrusted to the Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services, friends can leave a memory for the family at www.poteetfuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers please give to Ruby's favorite charity Haiti's Children's Hope Organization in memory of Ruby.
