Roy Lee Robbins was born December 25, 1939 at home in Masham, Oklahoma to Ernest Rodney Robbins and Dora Fern (Willard) Robbins. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 20th 2023 in Ponca City, Oklahoma from complications of kidney failure.

He graduated from Pawnee High School in 1957 and then attended Oklahoma State University in 1961 graduating with a degree in Agronomy. He served two years Active Duty in the United States Army then served from 1963-1968 in the United States Army Reserve as a 1st Lieutenant. After active duty he worked for the Soil Conservation Service in Texas.

He met Frances Ann Moss in Clarksville, Texas and they were married on February 13, 1971. They moved back to the farm in Pawnee to farm with his brother Wayne because that’s what he always wanted to do.

They raised two sons, David and Jason on the farm.

He served as a deacon in the Masham Baptist Church, on the Pawnee County Soil Conservation Board, and on the Rural Water Board.

He is survived by his wife Ann Robbins of the home, his son David Robbins of Hamill, SD, sister Delcie Barrett of Pawnee, Oklahoma, and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son Jason, his parents Ernest and Dora Robbins, sister Leona Leforce, brothers Floyd and Wayne Robbins, brothers-in-law Walt Leforce, Gene Barrett, and Elmer Moss.
