Rosemary Rice

Rosemary Rice was born on August 29, 1961 in Pawnee, Ok to Lynn Rice Sr and Rena Goodfox
Rice. She passed from this life on Sat. November 27, 2021 at the age of 60. Rosemary belonged
to the Pitahauerat band of the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma. She enjoyed watching her favorite
westerns, crocheting and sewing blankets, participating in the Native American Church, and
spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children Jason Rice and family, Hominy, Ok; Glen Mann and family, Little
Axe, Ok; Taylor Mann, Little Axe, Ok; Steven Moore Jr, Stillwater, Ok; sister Clarice Tselee and
family, Stillwater, Ok; brother Mitchell Rice and family, Tulsa, Ok; aunt Wanda Goodfox and
family, and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her son Kyle “Jess” Mann, parents Lynn Rice Sr and Rena
Goodfox Rice; and brothers Thomas Rice Sr, Lynn Rice Jr, Darrell Rice Sr, Rodney Rice Sr, and
Jeffrey Rice.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Pawnee Nation
Multipurpose Center, Pawnee, Oklahoma with the Sac and Fox Chapter Native American Church
officiating. Interment will follow at the North Indian Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma under the
direction of Poteet Funeral Home.
