Ronald Nathan Rice (Ronnie) passed away December 23rd, 2020 after succumbing to Covid-19. Ronnie was the first of four children born to Elmer and Ruby Rice on April 5, 1944. He graduated from Ralston High School and attended Okmulgee Technical College for a short time. He lived his entire life in the Big Bend, farming and helping his dad farm and ranch. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ralston and later attended Faitfax First Osage Baptist Church.
Surviving Ronnie are two sisters, Dawn Haney (Gary) of Fairfax and Vickie Cabell (Tom) of Tulsa, along with many nieces and nephews.Ronnie was preceded in death by a sister, Marian Stoneman of Fairfax.
Ronnie was a lifelong fan of Oklahoma State University, Thunder basketball, and car racing sports, as well as hunting and fishing. After debilitating illnesses, he spent the last two and one-half years residing at the Fairfax Manor Nursing Home. The family wishes to extend to the staff, administration, and Dr. James Graham their extreme thanks and gratefulness for all the kindness and support given Ronnie during his time there. They were all very gracious to this family.
