Roland Moore, 67, of Red Rock, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

Roland was born on August 10, 1954 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Minnie Mae English and Johnny Moore, Sr.

He was a member of the Owl Clan of the Otoe Missouria Tribe.

Roland grew up in Red Rock and attend school there. He was on the High School Basketball team and spoke often of his glory days. He enjoyed listen to music and watching old movies. He was a regular at the Otoe Missouria Senior Center where he played dominos and attend monthly activities. He’s favorite Holiday was Halloween where he could pass out candy to all the local munchkins.

Roland is survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, and sisters. Roland was the last of Minnie and Johnny’s Children.

Viewing will be from 9am to 10 am Friday August 13, 2021 in Pawnee at Poteet Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 11am at the Otoe Cemetery.
