Robert Evertt Domeny passed away from this life on April 15, 2021 in his home in Pawnee. Robert was born to Charles Evertt and Mary Sandra (Kelley) Domeny on June 2, 1974 in Pawnee, OK. He was a member of the Pawnee High School Class of 1993.
On July 21, 2007, Robert married Robyn LeForce Domeny at Masham Baptist Church. Robert and Robyn raised five children together and have eleven grandchildren. Robert loved being a Papa and enjoyed spending time with all the kids and grandkids.
Robert worked in the oil field as a roughneck for many years in many states across the country. He then worked for 2W Cattle up until his illness limited his abilities. During his employment at 2W cattle he earned the nickname “Petey”. He was known to always be a hard worker and always having a “get it done” spirit.
Robert was known for his orneriness, his crooked grin, his crazy oilfield stories, and his ability to make everyone around him laugh. He was also dubbed the label of “crash test dummy” as he wrecked every vehicle he ever owned. And even though mashed potatoes and steak were winners, everyone knew Robert’s favorite meal was Little Debbie desserts. Even the grandchildren knew that if their mom wouldn’t give them chocolate, Papa would always have a drawer full of snack cakes and Reece’s peanut butter cups.
Robert is survived by his wife of the home, Robyn and their six children, Trenton Roberts of Pawnee, Kendra Bruce and Dusty Yarber of Ralston, Erika Roberts of Pawnee, Cordell Domney and Karson of Cushing, KayLee Rozell of Ripley and Tison Roberts of the home. Eleven grandchildren, Preston Blaine, Trey, Elizabeth, Preston Jo, Jason, Johnny, Tava, Grace, Max, Kynlee, and Izabella. He is also survived by his parents, Charles and Sandy Domeny of Pawnee, his sisters, Mary Dejarnett of Ripley, and Christine Echohawk of Pawnee and one brother, Richard Domeny and wife, Amy of Pawnee. Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his son, Toby Domeny and his grandparents.
Services will be April 21, 2021 at The First Assembly of God Church in Pawnee, OK at 11 A.M. Officiated by Johnny Wagner and Kirby Stevens.
