Robert "Bob" Eugene Moles, 60, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, in Tulsa. He was born on December 11, 1956 to Charles Jordan and Viola Mae (Roe) Moles in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.He was raised in the Blackburn, Wild Horse and Prue areas and attended schools in Blackburn and Prue. Bob was Baptised at the age of 7 in the Blackburn Baptist Church and he gave his life to the Lord in 1996.On January 27, 1979, he married Melody Johnson. They were married 38 years, 11 months, until his death. Together, they raised two sons, Nathaniel Jordan and Taylor Durant Moles. In 2000, "Baby Girl'' their Boston Terrier joined the family. On December 11, 2007, a granddaughter, Kelsie Jordon was born. In June of 2014, three grandchildren came into Bob's life, Brandi, JW and Beau, plus a wonderful daughter-in-law, April. He was known to them as "Grandpa Bobby".A blessing happened this year, 2016, his grandbaby, Talia Jaiden Moles, was born on July 7. He had his name for her, "Little Lizard".Bob grew up wild and free with six brothers and two sisters. He had a passion for life of fishing, hunting, and family and a huge heart for many. Taking long drives with Melody on any given day were special times spent together.Bob began working in the oil fields in 1978, where he gave 17 years of hard work, working for PG&E, Bodard & Hale, Elgato and Roy Lawrence Driling companies. In 1995, he began employment with Words Industries in Cleveland. In 1999, he began employment at Charles Machine Works in Perry and continued working until his death.Bob loved life. He gave it all he had, if not more, and will be missed greatly. He gave 10 years to his community of Maramec as a volunteer firefighter. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Moles of Hominy; mother, Viola Moles of Pawnee; brother, Sonny Moles of Shidler.He is survived by his wife, Melody, of Maramec; sons, Nathan and wife, April Moles, of Pawnee; Taylor of Maramec; grandchildren, Talia Jaiden Moles of Oilton; Brandi, JW, and Beau of Pawnee; Kelsie Jordan Tull; brothers, Wesley and wife, Darla Moles of Lone Chimney; Roy and wife, Kris Moles of Pawnee; Earl Moles and Harold Moles, both of Pawnee; sisters, Joyce Kennedy of Cache; sister, Marie Stocker of Pawnee; two nephews, six nieces and a host of family and friends.Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Pawnee with Pastor John Moles officiating. Burial will follow at the Maramec Cemetery under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation.
