Richard William Snyder

Richard William Snyder left this life to join his beloved wife Barbara in heaven on December 26, 2015. He was born April 24, 1931 to Verna E. Gross and William F. Snyder. He spent the majority of his life living in Allentown, PA; graduating from William Allen High School. Richard attended St. James United Church of Christ and worked as a purchasing agent at Hertz Supply Company.  In 1954 he married Barbara Ann Miller. They enjoyed 61 years of marriage and had one daughter, Lynn Walker of Pawnee Oklahoma. Richard served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  He loved his family, enjoyed photography and traveling. In July of this year he and his wife moved in with their daughter and son-in-law in Pawnee Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his mother, grandparents and aunts Alice Gerhardt and Margaret Fink He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter Lynn and son-in-law Wayne Walker of Pawnee Oklahoma, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
