Rev. William Arthur Brant

William Arthur Brant went to be with his lord and savior on Thursday December 9, 2021 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Art was born August 20, 1935 on the Mohawk Indian Reservation Hastings County Ontario Canada to Benjamin and Nellie Joyce (Maracle) Brant. Art was a licensed and ordained minister of God with the Assembly of God and pastored in Akwesasne New York.
The question everyone asks...How in the world did you two meet?! A Mohawk from Canada & a Pawnee from Oklahoma. Art always gave them his answer...It was a GOD thing! And it was. Art has four daughters in Canada, Bonnie, Debbie, Pam, and Cindy. Art was quite a musician . He played piano, organ, according, guitar, base guitar and practicing his violin. At one time he was a drummer for a dance band. Art wore many different hats in his several careers. He was a Welder and worked and walked on the high beams for buildings in New York. Later in years he was a school bus driver for twenty years. He loved Oklahoma and his Christian friends in Pawnee.
Services were held Tuesday 10:00 A.M. December 14, 2021 in the Pawnee Assembly of God Church with Rev. Kirby Stevens officiating, burial will follow in Canada in the near future.
