Nova Marie Moore-Bravescout Fields entered into this world on May 7, 1942 in Pawnee, OK to her parents Sidney Moore, Sr. and Dorothy Pearl Peters Moore. Her maternal grandparents were Jessie and Nellie Peters and paternal grandparents were Frank Moore and Mary Daily Moore.

Nova Marie graduated from Will Rogers Junior High School in Claremore, OK in May of 1957. She then attended the Chilocco Indian Agricultural School, graduating in May of 1960. Later in life she returned to school, attending Northern Oklahoma College in which she obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree with a 3.7 GPA for nursing in May of 1993. She received her licensing from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing on September 16,1993 qualifying her to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Oklahoma.

Nova Marie enjoyed and loved her career as a registered nurse, she spent many hours caring and saving the lives of others. She had the opportunities to work at several different places in Tulsa, Pawnee, and Stroud. Along with being a caring nurse, she was also a loving and devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, great-grandmother.

Nova Marie was called home on November 20, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. She was greeted home by her parents Sidney and Pearl, maternal grandparents Jessie and Nellie Peters, paternal grandparents Frank and Mary Moore, siblings Wilma Williams, Theodore Moore, Norman Keel, Laverne Horsechief, and Pete Moore, Sr., and nephews Ellis Horsechief Jr., George Williams Sr., Terry Williams Sr., and Norman "Nonie" Keel, Jr. She left behind her husband Harrison Fields, daughters Delilah Moses, Tonette Ponkilla, and Sylvestine "Bessie" Franklin, and son Charles "Ed" Arkeketa, sister Sylvestine Shields, brother Sidney Moore, Jr., remaining close relatives Jim Clairmont, Darrell Moore, Walter Lorentz, and Yvonne Fletcher. Seventeen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews.
