Merl E. Dallas

Merl Edwin Dallas was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on November 19, 1936 to Harvey and Dorothy (Darnold) Dallas. He passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Mannford, Oklahoma having reach the age of 80 years 1 month and 3 three days..Merl and Grace Kennedy from Braman, Oklahoma were married on July 21, 1956 in Pawnee, Oklahoma by Blind Judge Ovinge Palmer.Merl and Grace went to California in October 1956 and worked in the meat industry as a truck driver for 32 years.  He became disabled and moved back to Jennings, Oklahoma in July of 1996 with his wife and has lived South of Jennings, Oklahoma since his return.                                                                                                    Merl is survived by his son, David Dallas, sisters; Elsie, Norma, Doris and Goldie, his grandsons; granddaughters;  sisters-in-law; nephews; nieces; a number of cousins and many friends.Merl was preceded in death by his wife Grace; son Gary; mother and father; four half brothers; brother; two sisters and one half sister.Services were held Friday 2:00 P.M.
