Mary Sybil (Perry) Hatfield was born March 15, 1922, she passed April 17, 2019, Sybil was 97 years 1 month and 2 days. Sybil was born to Nannie Louise and Patrick Claybe Perry in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, she was one of 12 children. She married Denver Clyde Hatfield on April 26, 1940 in Verdis, Nevada. the family resided in Clovis, California until the 60's when they moved to Pawnee, they had 5 children: Darrell, Darlene, Donald, Doreen, and Denise. Sybil loved being around her family, her friends and loved to have company over to her house to visit. If you asked her if she wanted to do something or go somewhere her response was usually " Just soon to as not" and her favorite saying was " Oh, Goodie!" She loved going on trips with her sister Rosie and her niece Doris and her husband Bob. She went to California several times, New York and many trips to Branson. She went on these trips as much as she could until she was in her 80's when she broke her hip and was unable to travel anymore. Sybil loved her grand children and kept them often. She never met a stranger and loved life. She always said that she wanted to live just as long as she possibly could, and for being 97 years old she got her wish. She loved going to garage sales and her and Rosie would go to Stillwater every Saturday to Wal-Mart and take her aluminum cans to the crusher. Sybil always said she had to go with Rosie because she couldn't see out of one eye real well so she had to help her drive. They continued these trips well into their 80's until Rosie's vehicle somehow just stopped working(with a little help from the family). Sybil was a member of the Assembly Of God Church over 50 years and went every chance she could until she was admitted to Southern Oaks Care Center, where she lived for the past 4 years. When Sybil's memory started to fade she might not know who a family member was, but she could still remember every word from her favorite religious hymns like "Rock Of Ages", "Amazing Grace", " I'll Fly Away", and " Jesus Loves Me". This is just one testament to her faith and love for Jesus. She was always smiling, happy and loved life. Sybil was preceded in death by her husband Denver, son Darrell, daughter Denise, and 10 brothers and sisters. Sybil is survived by 3 children; Darlene Woodward and husband Darrell of Pawnee, Donald Hatfield and wife Linda of Stillwater and Doreen Kline of Inola, 6 grand children; Cassie Bradley and husband Jimmy of Inola, Trina Kline of Tulsa, Travis Hatfield of Oklahoma City, Garrett Hatfield of Midwest City, Trista Woodward of Pawnee, and Helena Buchanan of Broken Arrow, 4 great grand children; Kylie and Camber Bradley, Anayla Williams, and Dakota Johnson, 1 sister Rosie Turner of Pawnee and many other relatives and friends.
