Mary Lou Teeman parted from this life on January 16th 2022 at the age of 78 in Bartlesville,
Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Huff” Teeman. They shared 28
years of marriage until his passing on February 19th, 1991.
Mary Lou was born in Hominy, Oklahoma on September 9th, 1943. She was the daughter of
Roy Lee and Ruth Nadine Spears. She was the only daughter with two brothers Kenneth
Spears and the late Ralph Spears. She graduated from Cleveland High School in 1961. She
worked at Emily Mills/Munsing Wear, then retired from OG&E as an Auxiliary Operator.
She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mary Lou had a
love for cooking and baking, taking care of others, antique shopping, OU football/softball, and
going on vacations with her family. One of her fondest traditions was making Christmas candy
with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She would always lovingly call her
grandchildren “Fried Frogs”, send a bedtime text of “I love you more”, thanking Jesus for the
perfect parking spot, and always getting a Diet Coke with extra ice from Sonic.
Mary Lou is survived by her brother Kenneth Spears and spouse Regina of Oklahoma City. Her
three children, Tanya Lee Cain and spouse Larry Cain of Tulsa, Richard Phillip Teeman and
spouse Angela of Stillwater, and Mary Amy Calvin Teeman and spouse Jasmine Calvin Teeman
of Wellston. Her grandchildren, Nikki Mulder Cook and spouse Russell Cook of Bartlesville,
Elizabeth Teeman Hall and spouse Marshall Hall of Stillwater, Megan Teeman, and Sarah
Teeman of Stillwater. Her great grandchildren McKayla Lee Cook, Jayda Nicole Cook, and
Rustyn Dean Cook of Bartlesville. She was preceded by her husband Richard “Huff” Teeman
and brother Ralph Spears.
