Marvin Leroy Diamond Sr., 80, went to be with his Lord on June 19, 2015 surrounded by his family. Marvin was born August 2, 1934 to William and Sophia (Robedeaux) Diamond in Red Rock, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe, Buffalo Clan. Marvin served in the United States Marine Corps. 5 years, Serving overseas in the Korean Conflict. He is a member of the Otoe-Native American Church. Marvin was preceded in Death by his parents, brothers; Bert Diamond, Wendell Diamond, Landreth Diamon , and Homer Diamond. One sister, Phoebe Diamond, and a son, Darin Diamond. He is survived by his wife Treva of the home, children; Rusty Diamond, Darin Diamond, Chris Smith, Sheri Smith, Alison Johnson, and Joey Realrider, grandchildren; Dae Diamond, K'Sea Cleveland, Shaun Diamond, Kylie Diamond, Phoenix Diamond, Mercedes Johnson, and Misha Johnson, and a host of relatives and friends. The Native American Church meeting was conducted Sunday evening by Randy Moore of Pawnee. The Otoe-Native American Church conducted the Prayer Service. Dr. Aaron Gawhega took care of the family. Serving as pallbearers ; Ralston Moore, Ryland Moore, Hugh Foley, Pat Moore, Pete Moore, Moran Bible, Dae Diamond, serving as honorary pallbearers; G K Basset, Randy Whitehorn, Chink Whitecloud, Arlene Lightfoot, All Native American Church members. Services are under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Pawnee.
