Lucy Delores NoEar-Rice was born March 14, 1964, in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Elaine LittleSunSpottedbear and Benjamin NoEar. She began her journey back to the stars on February 2, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by family and loved ones. Lucy was an enrolled citizen with Pawnee Nation, Kitkehaki band and descendant of the Ponca Tribe, Osage clan. She is the beloved mother to four children: Lenita Mae, Stevie Ann, Coleman E. and fur baby Camo and the beloved grandmother to: Xavier, Elayna, Cayman, High Eagle,
Julius, Kimberly, Oliver, and grand dog Keeno. Lucy married Robert Rice on September 8, 2017, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Lucy was a hard worker all her life. Always willing to protect and help care for the people she loved. If she was not taking care of the children she loved, you would always catch her dancing, listening to music, or watching all her favorite crime shows, like the First 48.Lucy is preceded in death by her parents Elaine and Benjamin, stepdad Billy Spottedbear,adopted brother Melburn Lee Grant, paternal grandparents, Franklin and Salina (King) NoEar and maternal grandparents James and Lucy (Morgan) LittleSun. Funeral will be held Monday, February 6, 2023, at the Roam Chief Event Center located in Pawnee, Oklahoma with a traditional mourners feast to follow. Burial will be at the North
Indian Cemetery.
