Linda Faye Mckinney

Linda Faye McKinney, 69, passed away on January 12, 2016 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa.Linda was born November 5, 1946 to Cecil and Loretta (Donell) Wright in Pawnee, Oklahoma, Linda was raised and schooled in Pawnee graduating from Pawnee High School. Linda met James McKinney at a dance and they were married 34 years at the time James passed away September 29, 2004. Linda was in nursing for many years and enjoyed helping others. She loved playing with her dog Sugar, and spending time with family especially her grandchildren. Linda loved puzzle books and coloring.Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, one daughter Michelle, three grandchildren, Justin Martin and a set of twin grandchildren.Linda leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters; Cindy Porter and husband James of Pawnee, Tracy McKinney of Pawnee and son J.R. McKinney and wife Amy of Cushing, grandchildren; Amy Porter, Shelby Rose, James Porter, William Porter, Sophia Porter, Brent McKinney, Braden McKinney,  Andrew McKinney, Ashley Lewis, and Jeremy Lewis.Services are Friday 10:00 A.M. January 15, 2016, Graveside at the Fairfax Cemetery with Rev. Keith Moore officiating. Services are under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
