LESLIE FULTON CROCKER
June 3, 1928--January 17, 2021
Leslie Fulton Crocker was born June 3, 1928 to Leslie Ted and Ethel Pearl Crocker, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on January 17, 2021, at the age of 92.
Leslie was raised in Pawnee and graduated from Pawnee High School. After high school, he served in several different branches of the military, eventually finishing his career, of 33 years, in the Reserve Special Forces Unit, in Tulsa.
While in Basic Training, he met and married his future bride, Carmen Phyliss Johnson, on March 6, 1954. They established their home in Pawnee where he went into business with his father at Crocker & Son Plumbing & Electric. Les also served his civic duty as a member of the Pawnee City Council, for many years.
Les enjoyed spending time with his family, working on the farm, and attending anything to do with the Veterans of the Armed Forces. The thing he most enjoyed was having coffee with the Knights of the Square Table, and catching every memory he could with a camera.
Les is survived in life by his sister, Mary Lou Richardson of Cushing; his three sons, Steven Crocker and wife, Paola of Memphis, Tennessee; Ted Crocker and wife, Alesa of Cushing; and Fred Crocker of Memphis, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Leslie Crocker of Blanchard; Rolen Crocker and wife Malica, of Cushing; and Corbin Crocker of Cushing; three great grandchildren, Donald and Leslie Ted Crocker of Cushing; and Lorelai Crocker of Blanchard.
Les was preceded in death by his parents, Ted “Pappy” and Pearl Crocker; sister, Jo Francis Crocker; and wife, Carmen Crocker.
Services are entrusted to the Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
