Johnny Moore, Jr. or Pawnee, Oklahoma passed away on December 5, 2018. Johnny was 67 years old.
A traditional Funeral will be held at the Otoe-Missouria Tribal Cultural Center Sunday, December 9 at noon with The Native American Church officiating .Prayer services were held Friday the 7th and Saturday the 8th of December.

Johnny was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on June 22, 1951 to Johnny Moore Sr. and Minnie Mae Moore. Johnny grew up in Red Rock, Oklahoma and graduated from Red Rock in 1969. After high school Johnny attended NOC and later joined the Army. Johnny was very proud to be a Veteran and honored to serve his country.

Johnny enjoyed playing his guitar and singing. He spent the latter part of his life as a resident at Southern Oaks Nursing Home in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Johnny was a pleasure to be with and enjoyed all the staff at the Nursing Home. Johnny was fortunate to have family members working at the Nursing Home who assisted in caring for him daily.

Johnny is survived by his brothers Elton Moore of Red Rock, Oklahoma and Roland Moore of Red Rock, Oklahoma. He also has numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents Johnny Moore, Sr. and Minnie Mae Moore as well as his sisters Loretta Hess, Carmelita Everhart, Claudetta Morris and Lorraine Sigwing along with his brothers Randall “Wahoo” Moore as well as 2 infant baby brothers.

Johnny was loved and will be missed. “Right on Right on”
