John Edward McIntosh Sr.

John Edward McIntosh Sr. passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 56. John was born August 3, 1967 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Robert McIntosh and Winifred Jovonne (Pettit). John Graduated High School in Pawnee, Oklahoma. John was a Journeyman working in Construction. John was a member of the World Champion Drum Group YellowHammer  Singers, They won the Schemitzen Championship in 1995, 1997, 1998, 2001, and 2004 John was a proud member of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe. John is survived by six siblings, Olivia Buffalohead, Daniella Frances McIntosh, Roberta McIntosh, Gerald McIntosh, marissa Packhorse-Bible, Late-Nathan McIntosh, children, John McIntosh Jr., Adrienne McIntosh, Nellie McIntosh, Marcus Tenequer, Kali McIntosh, and one granddaughter Tayli Kalwiseoma. John will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Services were held Monday 12:00 P.M. in the Otoe-Missouria Tribal Cultural Building with the Native American Church officiating, burial followed in the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery in Red Rock, Oklahoma.
