John Henry Green

John Green Sr. 83, was born in Pawnee, Ok on Dec. 29,1931 to Arlena and Chester Green. John(SR) passed away on Sept 11th, 2015.

John Green was a lifelong resident of Pawnee, Ok. John was the fourth child of five. Marie (Roy) O'neal of California, Suzanne Elston (proceeded in death), David Green of Pawnee, and Opal Logan (proceeded in death). John was a great family man and great provider. He worked numerous jobs in and around Pawnee ranging from the railroad to running the "Big-Apple". John married the first time on May 9th,1952 to Maude B Willis(proceeded in death) from that union came Pat Elston of Ponca City (proceeded in death), John Green, Jr of Tulsa (proceeded in death), Gwendolyn(Faye) (Edward) Williams of Pawnee, Linda Green (Ron) of Tulsa and Arthur Green of Tulsa (proceeded in death).

Next, John married Della Mae Harper of Cushing (proceeded in death) on December 18th, 1969 from that union came Vicki Green.  John helped raise Della's children: Pat (Paul) Hines of Oklahoma City, Reginna Wrice(proceeded in death), Janis Frazier(proceeded in death), Pearlena (Micheal) King of Oklahoma City and Herbert Waldon (proceeded in death).

Finally, John married Retha Mae Wayan on Nov. 24th, 1976. There were no children from the union, but John helped raise Retha's daughter Carletha Wayne Green of Tulsa, Ok. John is survived by one brother David (Florene) Green of Pawnee, one sister Marie (Roy) O'neal of California. 3 daughters Gwendolyn J. Williams of Pawnee, Linda Kay Green of Tulsa, Vicki Willis of Pawnee, 17 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.  John was loved by many  and missed by all.
