Jerry Brown, 63, passed away on September 4, 2024. Born on October 28, 1960, in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Bert "Bo" Brown and Evelyn (Sorrells) Brown. Jerry attended Pawnee schools and Okmulgee VoTech. Throughout his life, he showcased a variety of skills, including farmhand, horseshoeing and oil field (floor and derrick hand). He excelled in boot and saddle making and enjoyed a career as a truck driver.

Jerry lived life to the fullest, always sociable, and full of energy. He cherished his children and grandchildren, spending as much time with them as possible. He is survived by his son, Christopher Brown, of Texas, four daughters; Lacey Brown (Farhod), Dallas, Texas; April Moles (Nathan), Pawnee, OK; Misty Bledsoe (Cody), Ralston, OK; Samantha Childress (Shawn), Tucson, Arizona. Jerry also leaves behind his mother, Evelyn Brown; siblings Darrin (Michelle) Brown, Debbie (Frank) Smith, Jane Travis and Mary Woods; sixteen grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; uncles Bill A Brown and Harold (Linda) Sorrells; and aunts Bonnie Warren and Norma Hamblin.

Jerry was preceded in death by his dad, Bert (Bo) Brown; brothers in law Terry Travis and Jack Woods; and nephew, Mason Wyatt Brown. A true Pawnee boy all his life! Jerry passed away due to Hypertensive Cardiovascular disease. Cremation was performed on September 6, and a memorial service will be held Graveside Saturday 2:00 P.M. in the Highalnd Cemetery in Pawnee. In lieu of flowers if you would like to donate for his burial donations can be made through Poteet’s.
