James Ralph Graves Jr.

James Ralph Graves Jr. age 64 of Ralston, Ok. went to be with his heavenly father on February 26th, 2016 in Tulsa, Ok. James was born September 11th, 1951 in Kellyville, Ok. to Gladys Smith and Ralph Graves. He grew up in Kellyville, Ok. then moved to Sapulpa, Ok were he met and then married Kathy Henson on May 4th, 1981.  They moved to Ralston, Ok. in1984 and lived there until his passing.  James loved fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. You could find him most days outside in his yard cutting wood or tinkering with something. He loved his family and spending time with each of them. His grandchildren were a big part of his life.James was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Smith and Ralph Graves. Three Brothers, Johnny Smith, George Smith and Claude Graves. One Sister Georgie Smith. And grandson River Henson. James is survived by his wife Kathy Graves of the home. Two Children, daughter Jamie Waters and husband Loren of Pawnee, Ok and son Michael Henson of Arkansas City, Kansas. Brother Bobby Graves and wife Faye of Ripley, Ok. Three sisters Francis Riebe of Kellyville, Ok  Joann Young of Cushing, Ok and Nellie Mathis of Bakersfield, California. Grandchildren Jacob Waters, Levi Waters, Michael Henson Jr., Amber Henson, Chloe Henson, Echo Henson. And one great granddaughter Lakely Henson. Graveside services will be at the Riverside cemetery in Ralston, Ok on Thursday 2:00 P.M. March 3, 2016, officiating will be Pastor John Coker.
