Jack Leroy Russell

Jack Leroy Russell, 83, passed away January 5, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jack was born April 22, 1935 to Clyde and Mabel Russell in Lucian, Oklahoma, he was raised and schooled in Morrison, Oklahoma. Jack served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Jack married the love of his life Pauline (Dobson) Russell on August 15, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, they both attended the United Methodist Church. Jack worked as a Plumber and Pipefitter until his health started to fail. Jack was a kind man always willing to help anyone who needed help, he liked to work on cars and watching OU Football, and Tulsa Oiler Ice Hockey. He loved to fish and hunt when he could.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pauline of 43 years, and two brothers Bob Russell and Frank Russell.
Jack is survived by his son; Leeroy Russell of Morrison and daughter Robin Russell, grand children; Taylor Russell, Jordan Russell, Colton Russell, and Laurie Russell, brothers; Fred Russell and Jim Russell.
Services were held Thursday January 10, 2019 in the Poteet Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Hughes officiating, burial will follow in the Morrison Cemetery.
