Geoffrey Clare Roughface

Geoffrey Clare Roughface, 29, was born on July 25, 1989 in Stillwater, OK to Damon and Francie Roughface and passed from this life on February 20, 2019 in Norman, Oklahoma. A graduate from Pawnee High School in 2007 with high honors, Geoffrey attended the University of Oklahoma and was a proud graduate of the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communications where he studied Broadcasting and Electronic Media.

Geoffrey was a member of the Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma and was proud of both his Pawnee and Ponca heritage. Geoffrey was a producer and team member for 107.7 The Franchise for nearly four years where he found his passion for entertaining his listeners with his hot takes on sports, along with the occasional “dad joke”. He was an avid Sooner fan for the entirety of his life. One of Geoffrey’s favorite pastimes included attending and watching all sorts of sporting events, especially OU events. Geoffrey was also a corgi enthusiast and loved spending time with his own corgi, Sunny G. Geoffrey also enjoyed spending time with all of his friends and family who knew him best for his infectious smile, contagious laugh, and his witty humor.

Geoffrey is proceeded in death by his maternal great- grandparents D. Jo and Helen Ferguson; paternal grandfather, Paul Roughface; paternal grandmother, Clarabelle Roughface; maternal grandfather, Lawrence Murie; and maternal grandmother, Cheryl Bryant.
Geoffrey is survived by his parents, Damon and Francie Roughface of Pawnee, OK; Siblings, Clara Tucker and husband Brayden Tucker of Pawnee, OK; Chloe Roughface of Oklahoma City, OK; and Alex Roughface of Norman, OK; Grandfather, Junior Bryant of Pawnee, Ok; Nephews, Ryker and Tripp Tucker, his beloved Sunny G., and numerous other family and friends.

The Celebration of Geoffrey’s Life will be held at the First Christian Church in Pawnee, Oklahoma on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 2 p.m.
