Freddie L. Moses Alexander was November 13, 1948 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Marie Steward Alexander-Abington and Johnny W. Alexander passed away July 1st, 2017 at the age of 68 years and 4 months.
Fred attended the Pawnee School system before Graduating from Pawnee High School in 1968. He was drafted into the United States Army, then he joined the National Guard where he was later sent to serve during the Korean Conflict. H was honorably discharged in 2008. Fred was briefly married and divorced and he had no children. He worked for a number of years doing different types of jobs before becoming a janitor at the Highway Patrol office in Pawnee, Homeland grocery store and his last job at the Methodist Church in Oklahoma City. He loved to read and loved watching TV and keeping up with the World and National News.
Preceding him in death is his dad- Johnny W. Alexander; Grandmothers-Emma Alexander and Addie Berry Steward; Grandfather-Sam Steward; Uncles-George Alexander, Sam Steward Jr., Jimmy Stewart, Timmy Steward, Ed Steward; Aunt-Emma “Corrine” Fitchpatrick; Special Cousin-Gaylon Stewart.
He leaves behind his Mother-Marie & Stepfather- Willard Abington of Stillwater, Ok; Sister-Michelle Abington of Stillwater, OK; Nephew- Michael Abington of Stillwater, Ok; 1st Cousins-Rose Stewart of Stillwater, OK and Gary Stewart of Pawnee, OK; 2nd Cousins-Davian Stewart of Stillwater, OK, and Tre Stewart of Pawnee, OK; and a host of other relatives, friends and family members.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017, at 10:00 A.M., at Highland Cemetery in Pawnee, Oklahoma under the directions of Poteet Funeral Home .
