In Loving Memory of Florine Joyce Collins-Hill
Florine Joyce Collins-Hill, born on January 17, 1935, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, to Batiste Collins and Hattie Murray-Collins, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024, joining her beloved husband, Ralph Hill, in the afterlife.
Florine attended and completed her schooling at Gravy. She attended Haskell University where she earned a secretarial degree. She began her career at the Pawnee Bureau of Indian Affairs before moving to Oklahoma City, where she worked as a secretary for John E. Wolf. She concluded her professional career at Sears in Oklahoma City, retiring in 1984.
After retirement, Florine met the love of her life, Ralph Hill. Ralph and Florine were inseparable, sharing a deep bond that was evident to all who knew them. Together, they explored the world, savoring every moment of their adventures and the joy of each other's company. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."
Florine is survived by her family: Victoria Collins, Jacqueline Esparza, Frank Esparza, Samuel Esparza, Lori Collins, Ashely Collins and Crystal Baughman. They will continue to cherish the beautiful memories and the legacy of love she left behind.
