Flora E. Funkhouser

Flora E. (Perrin) Funkhouser, 86, was born November 26, 1931, in Blackburn, Oklahoma and passed away November 4, 2018 at home surrounded by family. Flora lived in the Blackburn area all her life. Flora married Leslie "Bud" Funkhouser on May 20, 1948 in Hominy, Oklahoma. Flora loved to feed cattle and work on the farm with Bud. She enjoyed reading, quilting, fishing and going on picnics with the grandkids. She loved going to all the activities of her grand children, she was their biggest fan !! Everyone enjoyed "Dinner Day" at Mema's on Sunday. Her cinnamon rolls always produced a fight over the middle ones. The girls loved going to Mema's to bake bread, cookies and pies. Flora taught Children's Sunday School at the Methodist Church several years.

Flora is survived by her children, son; Bruce Funkhouser of Blackburn and daughter; Diane Heisler and spouse Gene of Pawnee. Grand children; Kit Heisler, Heath Heisler, and wife Heather, and Deanna Funkhouser Seat, sister in law; Mary Jo Perrin, great grand children; Cameron Heisler, Hannah Heisler, Kendall Heisler, Halee McCray, Hayden Heisler, and Preslie Heisler, great great grand children; Camberly Heisler and Peyton Miller, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Funkhouser, parents Sherman and Goldie Perrin, brothers, Sherman Perrin, Arthur Dale Perrin, sisters Jeri Comer and Marianne La Belle.

Services will be held Wednesday 10:00 A.M. November 7, 2018 in the Blackburn United Methodist Church with Rev. Lindee DeRoin officiating, burial will follow in the Blackburn Cemetery in Blackburn, Oklahoma.
