Edith Pauline Sager

Edith Pauline Metcalf was born February 19, 1925 in Wekiwa Oklahoma to Walter & Sophia Metcalf. She attended school in Tanglewood then moved to Sand Springs, graduating in 1942. She met Charles Sager in August of that year and became his wife one month later. In September 2017 they celebrated their 75 wedding anniversary. Edith worked as an elevator operator in downtown Tulsa. She also was responsible for starting a craft show at O'Brien Park, in Turley lasting over 18 years. Edith was very active in her church and was always willing to serve the Lord. The family always enjoyed playing and singing music together. She is survived by her husband Charles of the home. Daughter Cheryl Clark & husband Kenneth of Sand Springs, Phil Sager & wife Margie of Kellyville, John Sager formerly of Eureka California, Nelson Sager and wife Denise of Turley. Iris Reeves and husband Mark of Broken Arrow, Donna Cowan & husband Randy of Sacramento California. 14 grandchildren 30 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers Jack & Roy Metcalf.
