Earl Big Soldier Plumley Jr.

Earl Big Soldier Plumley Jr. passed away in Oklahoma City on November 26, 2017 surrounded by his wife and children. He was born August 5, 1944 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Earl Sr. and Dollie (Garcia) Plumley. He was an enrolled member of the Pawnee Nation and was also of the Otoe-Missouria tribe. He was a member of the Pawnee Veterans and Otoe Eloska Societies. He married Diana (Hubbard) Plumley on November 26, 1994 and settled in Oklahoma City. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; Earl Sr. and Dollie (Garcia) Plumley, siblings; Lelus plumley, Ron Plumley Sr, Earlene Plumley Miller, Beverly Plumley Zotigh and daughter Sherry Plumley. Earl is survived by his wife Diana of the home, children; son Jimmy George and wife Cindy George, son Jeffery George, son Grant Cotanny and wife Heather Cotanny, son Christopher Plumley, daughter Janna Presley, son Earl Plumley III and companion Angie Blind, daughter Erin Plumley, son Michael Plumley and wife Courtney Plumley, and daughter Jennifer Moses. Thirty one grand children and seven great grand children. He also has nine adopted children along with all of their children and granchildren: Ada Pigeon, Shema Lincoln, Misty Blue Mesteth, Mark Bolin, J.T. Liles, Donald Chasenah wife Casandra Bointy Chasenah, Michael Berryhill and Steven Middlerider. Services will be held Wednesday 10:00 A.M. November 29, 2017 in the Pawnee Nation Roundhouse Building with Chris White officiating, Internment will follow in the Veteran's Section of Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
