Derek Jordon Brensing, 29, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019 in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Derek was born in Pawnee, Oklahoma on August 18, 1989 to Nelson E.F. Brensing III and Vonda Walrath Brensing. He attended Pawnee Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 2007.
Derek was a very bright and intelligent young man. A very loving and devoted father to his 5 children.
Derek and Shaylah Weber welcomed ShyAnn Jordon Brensing in July 2007.
Derek married Elisha Hawkins in December 2008. They welcomed Keaton Jaymes Brensing in July 2009, Adam Jaycob Brensing in November 2010 and Emmarie Makenna Brensing in November 2011. They adopted Brian Lee Brensing in January 2013.
Derek cherished his life and time with his children and girlfriend, Brandy, friends and family.
Derek enjoyed Sooner football, OSU basketball, NASCAR, the OKC Thunder and Tech 9 Concerts.
He was a member of the First Christian Church of Pawnee where he was a Junior Deacon.
Strong in his beliefs and loyal to those he loved, Derek was deeply loved and cherished by his family and friends.
Derek is survived by his, children: ShyAnn Jordon Brensing, Keaton Jaymes Brensing, Adam Jaycob Brensing, Emmarie Makenna Brensing, and Brian Lee Brensing all of Pawnee, Oklahoma; His parents: Nelson E.F. Brensing III, Pawnee, Oklahoma, and Vonda Richey and husband Houston, Wilburton, Oklahoma; two special friends Kelly Martin and Brandy Fangnan; ;His half-sister, Valarie Graves, Pawnee, Oklahoma;. His maternal grandfather; St. John Walrath and his wife, Billie, of Moore, Oklahoma; His paternal grandmother: Helen Brensing, Pawnee, Oklahoma; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends..
Derek was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lee Brensing; sister, Chasity Brenee’ Brensing; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Walrath, paternal grandparents, Nelson E.F. Brensing Jr. and Rita Ann Stallings Brensing.
Services will be 2:00 P. M., Monday, January 7, 2019 at the First Christian Church of Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Interment at the Highland Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma
