Calvin Wayne Rowe Sr.

Calvin Wayne Rowe Sr. was born on August 8, 1967 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Jimmy Wayne Rowe Sr. and Eugenia “Sue” Lee.

In Calvin’s younger years he was very active in sports. He played football and basketball. Calvin received his GED in 2010 and then received his Associates Degree from Pawnee Nation College on May 11, 2013.

Calvin not only enjoyed preaching the word of God, but he was also a jack of all trades. His hobbies were playing basketball, fishing, drawing, but most of all reading his Bible.

Calvin loved to meet and pray for loved ones. He was also willing to help anyone in need. He had a kind heart. He loved his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Calvin was also an avid “OU” fan.

On July 29, 2021, Calvin entered rest. Preceding him in death is his father Jimmy W. Rowe Sr., mother Eugenia “Sue” Lee; grandmother Iva B “Peters” Pratt, grandfather Charles W. Rowe and grandmother Thelma “Kent” Rowe.

Calvin is survived by his daughter Amber High-Bass of Pawnee, Oklahoma and Son Calvin W. Rowe, Jr. of Shawnee, Oklahoma, three brothers, Jimmy W. Rowe. Jr. of Manteca California, Alvin B. Rowe of Pawnee, Oklahoma, David L. Powell Jr. of Morrison, Oklahoma, three sisters, Brenda J. Rowe of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Iva R. Rowe of Wahkinney of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Thelma C. Rowe of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He’s also survived by four grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
