Alvin Blaine Rowe, Sr. was born on August 8, 1967 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Jimmy Rowe, Sr. and Eugenia Sue Lee.

Alvin Blaine Rowe, Sr. passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Hillcrest South Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Alvin truly loved life to the fullest, through simple pleasures, like bible study, fishing, playing basketball, and going to the casino. He liked joking and laughing with friends and family and listening to music, and spending time with his nephews and nieces.

Alvin graduated from Riverside Indian School and attended the Talking Leaves Job Corp. in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and graduated. He then moved to Arizona where he worked as a construction worker.

Alvin excelled in sports and was a self-taught artist in Native Art.

He was a member of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma and Wichita and Pawnee descent.

He is survived by children Alvin “Alizg” Rowe Jr., Kenisha Rowe and Jade Rowe, Kailey Rowe, companion and best friend Mary Bear, three sisters and two brothers, Brenda Rowe of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Jimmy Rowe, Jr. of California, Thelma Charlene Rowe of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Iva Regina Rowe Wahkinny of Tulsa, Oklahoma and David Powell, Jr. of Morrison, Oklahoma.
Services were held Tuesday 2:00 P.M. in the Pawnee Nation Roam Chief Event Center with Rev. Kirby Stevens officiating, burial followed in the South Indian Cemetery. Services were entrusted to the Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services, friends can leave a memory for the family at www.poteetfuneralhome.com
