Leslie (Les) Spears, Daddy, Papa Les, Brother and Friend to so many, passed from this life on December 11, 2020 in Stillwater Oklahoma. Leslie was born on the farm near Pawnee on December 5th, 1942, the Son of Cleo and Clara Lucena (Mynear) Spears. He attended school in Blackburn and Pawnee High School. Leslie served in the Army from 1960-1963 where he was stationed in Greenland. He resided in Pawnee, Oklahoma and married Rebecca Burns in 1963. He became a licensed Land Surveyor and worked in numerous states until retirement in 2019. Leslie resided in Borger, Texas the last 10 years but Pawnee was his home. Leslie is survived by daughter, Denise Bell and husband Aaron of Stillwater Oklahoma. Grandchildren Ashley and Adam McPhail of Clinton, Oklahoma, Luke Tallon of Oklahoma City and Hayden Bell of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Great grandchildren, Adalynn, Addyson and Anderson Mcphail, sisters Cleta Kirkpatrick of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Sylvia Rosenthal of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Linda Morris of Texarkana, Texas and brother Elton Spears of Pawnee, Oklahoma.
